The Human Resource Department’s goals are to advance the City of Harvey’s overall mission through acquisition, retention, and support of City employees and leadership. HR services achieve this mission by:

  • Recruiting, employing, retaining, and developing employees.
  • Maximizing employee relations, personal and group performances.
  • Applying internal consulting, problem resolution, and provisions of efficient, cost-effective, customer-responsive human resource services.

We will provide leadership and guidance in developing, implementing, and equitable administration of policies and procedures, thus fostering a positive work environment.

Applications Submission 

Applications and job descriptions for open positions are also available at the Mayor’s Office between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
